History & Biography
Lustful was born in Belo Horizonte in 1990 and practiced death metal. The band issued a demo called Pray Of The Lustful God in 1992 featuring just two songs. Heaven Burns... and No Sense followed in the subsequent years until the band signed with Brazilian imprint Cogumelo Records. The band featured Bruno Amarante on drums at this juncture. He would leave in 1995 only to return in 1997 and remain again until 2002. A second album called Profane would appear 12 years later in 2007, although the band was heard from on a local Sarcofago covers CD in 2001. Fernando Fernández died in a car accident in 2009. Lustful was booked for the Cogumelo Records' 30th anniversary concert in 2012. Other bands billed were Drowned, Scourge, Arkebeltz and The Tray Of Gift in 2012. The group was billed for the Stone Metal Festival as late as 2013. The band disappeared, but signaled a return in 2019 that came to naught.

The band’s artwork is true to its name.
