History & Biography
Luv Hunter was a US metal band from Las Vegas, Nevada that was active in the latter half of the 1980s and into early 1990s. Early bassist was Dayne Morgan who died of cancer in 2012. A couple of members had come from the local crossover band, Papsmear. Iron Works also issued the album on limited edition yellow vinyl. A demo in 1990 was the act's last recording. There was also a tour of Japan in 1990.

The act played a one-off reunion gig in Las Vegas in 2013. The band was inducted into the Las Vegas 80s Rock Hall Of Fame. Drummer here was also Larry Dolen who had sessioned with the band in 1990. Luv Hunter's sole album was reissued by Lost Realm Records in 2018. It included the band's demo and a live DVD of the band live in Las Vegas and in Tokyo, Japan. The band also booked a show for Las Vegas early 2020. Early drummer Jerry Hammock died in 2022.
