History & Biography
This progressive extreme metal band was founded in London, England in 2011. Vortigern had set the band up following Archaicus. The band used pop instrumentation like keyboards and organs. Mordgrimm snatched the band up and released the Lychgate album in the middle of 2013. There were shows with Nightbringer in November of 2015. The band played its second album in its entirety at the Roadburn Festival in 2016. The third record was inspired by The Invincible by Stanislaw Lem. A proposed 2020 tour with White Ward was cancelled due to the pandemic. The band contributed to the For Ukraine, For Freedom sampler in 2022. UK-based Lychgate had a full-length called Precipice in late December 2025. T. J. F. Vallely had returned. The band appeared at Cosmic Void Festival prior to the album's release.

This is the type of band where everyone concerned is as loyal and exclusive as Donald Trump has been to his wives and hos.
