History & Biography The band made the move from Orlando, Florida to California in 1988. The act pushed the single Rattlesnake Skin in 1989. The band opened for D’Molls, Bang Tango and Love/Hate. There was a demo in 1990. MCA had requested a demo following a showcase, but was uninterested in the result. Singer Whaley left in 1991. That was the end.
Eonian Records released the four-disc box set Rock ‘N’ Roll Rebels & The Sunset Strip in April of 2015.
Lypswitch had a single called Rattlesnake Skin from the World Of Sin album on March 29th 2024. The song was accompanied by a video. The material was from 35 years prior, but there were three new songs added for the release as well. It was engineered and produced by Alex Woltman (Lizzy Borden, Malice, Motley Crue, Quiet Riot, W.A.S.P., etc.) and Elliot Soloman (Quiet Riot, Lizzy Borden, King Kobra, etc.) and remastered by Anthony Focx (Ace Frehley, Aerosmith, L.A. Guns and Night Ranger).
The band had an alter ego called Boogers From Outer Space.
