History & Biography
Nikki Buzz formerly of Vendetta formed the heavy metal act M80 around 1979. The band featured Don Costa who would be more famous for getting kicked out of Ozzy Osbourne’s band for being too out there. The band’s rhythm section would soon be replaced by former Samson/Rogue Male bassist Chris Aylmer and drummer Sam Mann. Two members were from The Netherlands-based Bodine. The debut album was reissued by Roadrunner with a new design. The band enlisted heavy metal as its weapon of choice. Retrospect issued a band sampler in 2007. Don Costa died of a heart attack in 22024.
