History & Biography The band was founded in late 2021 and incorporated hardcore with Brazilian ethnic influences. Will and Magaiver had played together before.
Groovy hardcore band Makunaybah had a single called Break The Chains through Electric Funeral Records in 2022. The band, and its new line-up, uploaded a song called Resistance in 2024. The group was billed for the Supremacia Rock Festival in 2024. The band unceremoniously threw in the towel in 2025.
Makuna was one of the indigenous peoples that reacted against European colonization of Brazil.
