History & Biography
Malefic Throne was a new 2021 project featuring singer and bassist Steve Tucker (Morbid Angel and Warfather) guitarist Gene Palubicki (Perdition Temple, Angelcorpse, etc.), and drummer John Longstreth (Origin, Hate Eternal and ex-Angelcorpse). A self-titled debut EP was out through Hells Headbangers 2022.

The group signed a deal with Agonia Records in late 2022. The band was working on its debut album. The group further reported recording in 2023 and again in 2024. In the meantime, the members were moonlighting in half a dozen old and new acts. Malefic Throne announced its debut album for November 28th 2025. Agonia Records was behind The Conquering Darkness.
