History & Biography
Black and occult metal in Lyon, France since 2010, Malepeste was heard through the self-titled demo of 2011. The monicker referred to a force of evil, but also stood for an expression of surprise otherwise. A follow-up demo was 2013's Dereliction. The band was booked for a show called Vormela Fest II. Deliquescent Exaltation appeared in 2015. Hetroertzen, the band and Malhkebre toured together in late 2015. The band was billed for Ragnard Rock Festival in 2016. Amorphis was headlining. The France-based black metal bands Malepeste and Dysylumn had a split record called Ce Qui Fut, Ce Qui Est, Ce Qui Sera through Goathorned Productions on 15.10.2018. Xahaal had played live with that band.

France-based black metal band Malepeste signed with Les Acteurs De L'ombre Productions. A full-length album called Ex Nihilo appeared a month later in 2025.

Art Of Necromancy was a short-lived black metal band between 2008 and 2010. Grande Loge is an ambient band.
