History & Biography
Bergen-based Malignant Eternal seemed to be a metal band drifting into industrial/alternative/goth. Arve Isdal joined in 1998. Even Ormestad played bass on the second record. As part of the drift, the band changed its name to M-Eternal following the release of Alarm. Evidently, the band was not eternally malignant. On the other hand, the monicker was resurrected in 2017 perhaps forever.

There was an initial demo in 1995 followed by a more professional independent recording called Tårnet. The band signed with Napalm Records and Tom Stien played bass. Even Ormestad played bass on Alarm. The act disbanded in 2001.

Following the reformation, Roy Ole Førland was announced as the piano man. The band announced it would appear at Tons Of Rock in Norway in 2018 and duly went back to being inactive.
