History & Biography Active in Melbourne, Victoria since 2018, stoner and sludgy Mammon's Throne uploaded a song called Race Against The Incoming Tide in 2019. The song The Spectre That Lies Within followed. Both tracks appeared on the band's 2020 debut. The band uploaded a couple of live songs in 2021. Johnny Chammas became the second guitarist. The release was called Skies Of Flame. 2023 brought a new album. My Body To The Worms was the title for the 2026 album by Australia-based sludge band Mammon's Throne. It was available through Hammerheart Records in March 2026. An album release show had Malignant Aura in tow.
'Mammon' refers to wealth and money, especially in the context of the Bible. The word could also refer to the devil.
