History & Biography
The “Australian rock n’ roll” is confused and sounds nothing like Jerry Lee Lewis or Elvis Presley thankfully. The band was founded in 2007 and also called itself Australian beer rock. The act was first heard on a self-titled demo through the group’s Golden Triangle Productions in 2008. A full-length, which again was self-titled, followed in 2009. The song Let's Roll was used for the soundtrack to a horror film called The Loved Ones. The act toured Australia with Airbourne and appeared again at CherryRock festival in 2010. Co-founder Sweet left the act, citing drug issues, in 2011. The 2012 record picked up the habit of adding ‘volumes’ to the titles.

The band switched to Napalm Records in 2013. The act played in Europe and opened for High Fighter.Mammoth Bloody Mammoth was fashioned after Black Sabbath’s Sabbath Bloody Sabbath and was a 2016 EP. The new label also released the band’s catalogue. A European tour with Green Leaf and My Sleeping Karma ensued. Kreuzung featured guitarist Marco Gennaro and bassist Kris Fiore. The group was booked for Rock Im Wald Festival 2019. The band went on hiatus in 2020, reacting to the pandemic, but was back as early as the summer of 2021 and again signed a deal with Golden Robot Records. Previous members had also returned. Australia-based hard rock band Mammoth Mammoth had a live album, called Volume VI - Warts N’ All, through Golden Triangle Records in 2024. It was released through Golden Robot in 2023. The package featured artwork inspired by Deep Purple’s 1972 album Made In Japan.
