History & Biography
The band was founded in 2003 by Azlum and began contributing to the fantasy and black metal genres. The Seven Realms Of Manetheren was the band’s debut, which was actually a demo, and appeared in 2004. Thorns joined on drums in 2011 possibly because he has to be in several new bands each and every year. Speaking of which Esoterica joined the project-a-month club after leaving in 2011. There have been a dozen people in and out since. Debemur Morti and the band signed a three-album deal in 2012. US-based Manetheren issued The End through Avantgarde Music to start 2017. It was a concept album. The band became inactive immediately.

Two members were in the black metal side-project Merihem as of 2022.

The band’s monicker was taken from the Wheel Of Time series by Robert Jordan where the Manetheren was a destroyed nation.
