History & Biography Oregon, USA-based guitarist Matt Miller reports having a first self-produced instrumental demo in 2017. Influences were Iron Maiden, Yngwie Malmsteen and Paul Gilbert while combining a technical extreme approach. The 2021 Decrepit Shed demo, the Reekomposer/Decomposer covers' double LP, as well as the 8E’s 1980’s 1980s-themed covers LP followed. Matt released an original instrumental LP Monument Of Velocity on Blood Blast Distribution in 2022. Matt also toured supporting Rings Of Saturn on the Cyber Shred Tour 2022 in the USA. Matt released the cover LP Only What the Light Allows through Blood Blast Distribution.
Matt assembled a full band consisting of drummer Jordan Kelso and bassist Justice Robinett in 2023. Matt headed to Europe in support of Possessed on the Oblivion Over Europe Tour. Matt began writing a new instrumental LP in 2024. After completing the demos, it became clear that the new record required vocals. Thus, vocalist Biko Wright entered the fray and the end result became Fiber Tormentum. Miller signed with Extreme Management Group. Musician, producer and engineer Matt Miller signed to Exitus Stratagem Records for the release of his 2025 album, Fiber Tormentum, slated for September. Part of the line-up here was Jordan Kelso (drums and synthesizer), Justice Robinett (bass), and Biko Wright (vocals). It was the act's first with vocals and a full line-up. It was a loose concept album regarding aliens wanting to take over our planet and changing human DNA to enslave the population. The band had a sci-fi influence that was based on real-life events. The album artwork was created by Voraath drummer Joshua Nassaru Ward who had died earlier in 2025. Miller was also active in multiple side-projects.
