History & Biography Active since 2017 in North Dakota, USA, Maul is a death metal act whose first release was Midwest Death Demo of 2018. The Serpent's Tongue: Below Grade Sessions and Soaked In Penance, Solicit The Torture demos quickly followed. Monarchy Of Mold was the 2020 demo. The band was industrious and Redefining Darkness was issuing several demos on cassette format, including Maul’s Deity Demise, soon next. Extractions Of The Tomb was a live recording. Guitarist Jake Schultz came and went.
The first studio album was released in the summer of 2022. It was called Seraphic Punishment. Desecration And Enchantment was a 2023 EP. Maul spent the summer touring the USA. The band was on 20 Buck Spin now. The band opened for Gravesend and then Maul and Deterioration conducted the U.S. Summer Tour 2024. In The Jaws Of Bereavement was an album by Maul, which was released through 20 Buck Spin in October 2024. The band was playing gigs in the USA to begin 2025.
