History & Biography
Based in the Eastern region of Paraíba of Brazil, Medicine Death was a goth doom band with a potential run-in with medical malpractice. The group featuring two brothers was formed in 1989 and issued a demo called Schizophrenic Dimension. The band next issued a split demo with Danger before rebranding the recording as The Other Side. The group recorded several songs again a year later and obtained a recording deal. With its debut, Genetic Radioactive Experiments, appearing in the summer of 1992. The band’s second full-length increased the violin and synthesizer quotient and was the band’s final output. The group disbanded in 1996.
