History & Biography
This Toronto-based black metal band was formed originally in 1995 as Chorazaim as a self-reference, but changed its name to Megiddo in 1998. The band’s early demos were called Hymns To The Apocalypse and The Heretic, which were issued as a cassette tape. The group signed to Barbarian Wrath and issued its debut and followed it up with a Hellhammer tribute CD with USA’s Rampage. The group appeared on a Beherit covers CD in 2002. The band has since had several more split releases with the likes of Countess and Legion666. The latter band is a project of the group’s members.

Megiddo is a hill in Palestine where the Biblical armageddon is due to occur.
