History & Biography
While there have been several Memorial Days in the world this particular bunch emerged in Bavaria, Germany and issued a 1995 demo called Embark Hades. By this time the band had already lost bassist Lars Beißler. The 1994 demo tape Incurable Emotions had already been issued a year earlier. The group issued one album and disappeared. The sole album was recorded with Andy Classen. Bernd had left the album to a clash with guitarist Markus.

The group disbanded in 1999. Werse was in Necrotic Flesh as of 2001. The group re-appeared in 2003, although a reformation was in the works for three years, and issued a self-titled demo again. The band disappeared.

Memorial day professed love for 'gothic metal.' Typical to the genre and times, the act had begun in 1992 with a serious and deathly approach.
