History & Biography Once upon a time (actually in 1991) Mental Funeral was an album by Autopsy. Mental Funeral was a doom/death act by Mike Juliano as of 2003. The band would later found a label called Horror Pain Gore Death. In the meantime, the band Mental Funeral would issue an EP called Mental Funeral in 2008 and include an Autopsy cover as an inside joke presumably.
Mental Funeral and Generichrist had a split release in 2009. Mental Funeral's logo had undergone a scrubbing. Another split release was shared with Lethal Aggression, Vulcan and BSOM. Horror Pain Gore Death rereleased the self-titled debut EP of Mental Funeral from 2008 in 2025. The new edition included the previously unreleased instrumental track Tortured Visions. The solo act's member was the label's own Mike Juliano. The act also appeared on the label's wrestling compilation.
