History & Biography This heavy metal band was founded in 1999 and issued a demo called Metalsteel 1 in 2001. Drummer Aleks switched to vocals at this juncture and Jasa Bizjak joined on the stool, but lasted a year only. Female musician Daša Trampuš joined on drums in 2002.
Play Records issued the band’s debut album late in 2003. It was named Usoda or 'fate.' The band next issued a demo called Taste The Sin and Bad In Bed. The group’s next label release was in 2010 and through underground label On Parole. Slovenian heavy metal band Metalsteel released a new studio album called This Is Your Revelation on 7th March, 2014 through On Parole Productions. The group released a new studio album entitled Beyond The Stars through On Parole Productions on December 9th.
Forsaken By The Gods was a demo in 2021. The band was booked for Metalwitch and Metaldays Festival 2022. Spomenik, in contrast, found a home on the Slovenian imprint, Nike Records. The band reissued its debut album, Usoda, in 2024. Due to illness within the group, the band cancelled an appearance at a show to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Paranoid metal zine in 2024.
Sušnik was a live member of Helstar in 2010 and later.
