History & Biography
Midas Touch was a Swedish thrash metal band beginning 1985. The band issued a demo called Ground Zero in 1987. This demo featured sole guitarist Thomas Forslund. Once Thomas left Patrick’s cousin was drafted. The band’s sole album received a fair bit of praise and publicity upon release, but it was not enough to sustain the band. The record was taped with Roy Rowland who had worked with Kreator. This album landed on the Swedish charts. A European tour with Hades followed. The band has recorded material for a second record, but the group grew tired and disbanded in 1990.

FKU, naturally, stands for Freddy Krueger’s Ünderwear. Washoe/Alpha Safari featured Entombed’s Uffe Cederlund.
