History & Biography This Los Angeles-area gothic doom metal band was formed in 1989 as a crustcore band. Drummer Al Higdon was part of the line-up. A split with Apocalypse followed a 1990 demo. After several demos, which the band claims sold around 5,000 copies, the band signed with Relapse and in 1995 had a well-promoted EP called Forlorn. The band split up in March of 1998 Following the departure guitarist John Flood and drummer Evan Kilbourne to Save Ferris. Two members formed Shiva, which actually signed with Century Media in 2002. Eyes OF Fire eventually did release an album on the label.
