History & Biography
Throned By Tyranny became Misanthropia as of 2005. The Rise Of Necropolis demo was available in 2006. A debut came on the Dutch Snakebite Records. It was called Slang Des Doods. Omertà came six years later. There were gigs opening for Hyperion in 2018. The band switched to Massacre for its third record. The group opened for Pestilence in 2022.

The Netherlands-based Misanthropia had a deal with WormHoleDeath Records to release an album, called Envy The Dead, on September 6, 2024. The band with synthesisers was influenced by Cradle Of Filth. Mike Wead produced again.

Welmoed is a rock band.
