History & Biography
Misfire began thrashing in 2018. A self-titled demo arrived in 2019. Another demo was called No Privacy and came in 2019. Singer and guitarist Tommy Denniger left. Jay Johnson took over the mike.

Cradle Of Filth was opening for Danzig and also headlining shows with Frayle and Misfire in Canada and the USofA in spring and summer of 2022. Misfire had to skip at least one show due to a member coming down with COVID-19. Warbringer, Heathen and Misfire were touring the USA in September 2022. Misfire was touring in support of its Sympathy For The Ignorant record, which was issued through MNRK Heavy earlier that year. It was a 2021 demo originally. After cancelling a spring tour of Europe due to costs, Flotsam And Jetsam announced the Blood In The Water tour of the USA for September 2023. Support was to come from Generation Kill, Misfire and Wolftooth, but the run was cancelled due to poor ticket sales. Sean Coogan left in 2023. Exodus was embarking on a U.S. tour next with support coming from Deicide and Misfire in May 2025. This tour was the follow-up to the Exodus' two Californian shows in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Bonded By Blood. With the release of a new album, the band name had not changed, but only drummer Jim Nicademus was left from the last album's line-up. Death Angel was embark on a 19-date headline trek across the USA in late 2025. Support acts were Toxic Holocaust, nu act Lions At The Gate and Misfire.
