History & Biography
Formed in the year of their lords by D.G.as a studio solo project in 2013, the black metal band whose monicker refers to ‘abuse’ in the Icelandic language, issued its debut album in 2015. It was called Söngvar Elds Og Óreiðu. The title meant ‘hymns of fire and chaos.’ The band performed at Beyond the Gates festival in Norway.

A Sinmara and Misþyrming ‎split single followed. Algleymi came in the spring of 2019, but was first recorded in 2016 before the material was scrapped and re-recorded in 2017 and 2018. The Black.Metal.Revenge - European Tour was announced for April and May 2021 with Profanatica, Revenge and Ultra Silvam. It was postponed to 2022 before being cancelled. T.Í. and G.E. had joined the line-up. H.R.H. left the act in 2022. Með Hamri Í Lifandi Formi was recorded live in Iceland and issued independently in 2023. The act was booked to perform at Montreal, Canada's Messe De Morts XII in 2024.
