History & Biography
Moon 'Doc was founded in 1993 by Herman Frank in Hanover and issued two LPs before going on hiatus and returning in 2000 with a new line-up and new record. Still, the end came in 2003. Singer Chris Bay departed in 1998 and was briefly replaced by former Attack singer Helge Engelke Before Jürgen Wulfes joined in 1999. Engelke died of cancer in 2023.

The group was a superstar project of sorts with members stemming from Accept, Victory, Sinner and other acts. Members would go on to serve in Freedom Call. The self-titled debut and Get Mooned did not feature a keyboardist, but this position was added for the last record.

Jürgen Wulfes was the singer for Thomsen’s Let's Get Ruthless album, which was produced by Herman Frank.
