History & Biography
Formed in the eastern town of Kitee in 2020 and featuring two brothers, the band quickly issued a demo called Pestilent Hordes before issuing a promo tape and a record called Ominous Seep Of Putridity in 2021. A split 7″ by Japan-based Anatomia and Finland-based Morbific was out through Lycanthropic Chants in 2022. Squirm Beyond The Mortal Realm came later. The band played at Helsinki Death Fest 2022 and Karelian Bloodshed. Morbific picked Bloom Of The Abnormal Flesh as the official title for its next album, which was released through Memento Mori (CD), Me Saco Un Ojo Records (LP and digital) and Headsplit Records (tape) in April 2025.
