History & Biography
Mortality was formed in Sydney’s western suburbs in 1992. Three demos followed: Eternal Life (1993). Aggression=Power (1993) and Oppressive (1993). Rick Fuda was on drums. Darren Jenkins was on guitar. The last two demos were distributed by Warhead Records, which eventually signed the act. The group would play live in Australia’s major cities and open for the Sepultura/Sacred Reich bill at Hordern Pavilion in Sydney. Channel Zero asked the band to open for them in Europe something the two bands were discussing at the time.

Structure was issued in 1997 and drew comparisons to Pantera, Channel Zero and Machine Head. The record was mastered at 301 Studio. Figl would leave and be replaced by Andrew Lilley.
