History & Biography
This Monterrey-based band began thrashing metal in 1988 and issued a demo called Where Death Takes Your Soul only a year later. Joel Alanis and Joel Leal were in a metal cover band. They form a new extreme band. The band opened for Sepultura. The band’s sole album soon appeared through Mexican label Avanzada Metálica. Rip off label Turbo Music also issued a single of the band, simply called Mortuary, in the same year. JL America and Turbo were connected across the Atlantic Ocean. The single’s tracks were already released in both the band’s demo and album. Mortuary was given the opening slot for Slayer in Mexico in 1994. A full-length demo, called Shine Of The End, was released in 1995. The group threw in the towel in 1997.

The group reformed in 2005 and 2008, but a single called Death Won't Leave The Throne was the only release. It appeared in 2012. Since 2009 Juan Ramos was on guitar. Aldo Guerra was back.
