History & Biography
The hard rock and heavy metal band Muren was founded in Blois in North Central France as early as 1984 or 1986. Philippe Sanfilippo joined in 1987. Alain replaced Eddie in 1988. There were plans for a 1988 album, but the label vanished from the scene. Therefore, the first the world heard of the band was through a 1992 single called Demo 1992. It took the band another four years to issue another demo. The band issued an album in 1998, which was recorded at Studio Bleu, and a demo in the same year. For 1999 concerts Lionel Vizerie replaced Alain Courtois.

The band originally sang in French, but switched to English circa 1990. The band has given shows in France, Switzerland and Italy.
