History & Biography
This Dutch death/doom band was formed in 1989 in Amsterdam. The band’s 1992 demo was called Endless Sickness. A promo tape followed, as did a 7” on Shiver Records called Lost Empire. This lead to the band’s sole full-length. The group split up in 1995 and reformed five years later with Rein Doze on vocals. The band had a 2001 demo called Hell Did Freeze Over, but the end was nigh.

Founding drummer Mark Van De Bovenkamp had left in 1991, but returned briefly in 2001. Memento Mori of Spain reissued the band’s album in 2013, along with the Endless Sickness demo bundled in, inclusive of new cover artwork.

The 2001 Hell Did Freeze Over demo from Netherlands-based doom/death metal band was re-released through Personal Records on August 26th 2022 and featured the 1993 Lost Empire single of 1993 as well.
