History & Biography
A Mithraeum was a temple built by worshippers of the Roman god Mithras. Mthra was the Iranian god of the sun earlier before becoming a Roman god signifying loyalty to the Roman emperor. The religion, and its followers, were persecuted by the Christians and destroyed.

The black metal band was founded in 2014 and released a demo in 2015. Bassist Ire and drummer Ignis left. Singer and guitarist Void also head for the door. The gang returned in 2020 with The Inevitable Return demo. Only Wraith was left standing from the original line-up. M-Theory Audio uploaded the Halls Of Mythras EP in 2023. The band’s manager Eric Dow worked for M-Theory and sang for Helsótt (M-Theory Audio).

USA Wacken Metal Battle winners (2022) Mythraeum had a full-length, called Oblivion Aeternam, through M-Theory Audio in 2024. The band had a video for the song Beyond The Void. Helsótt’s Will And The Witch album was mixed and mastered by J-F Dagenais and so this album was mixed and mastered by the same. The traditional album release concert was with Donella Drive, Cerulean, Temblad and Fistfights With Wolves in San Diego, California, USA.
