History & Biography
Much to the mortification of the relatives of the dead, cemetery workers and municipal officials suffering this necrocurse there were multiple Necrophiliacs everywhere. After all, not everyone is obviously a necrophiliac or considers this a necroblaspheme in this necrosphere, but given the necrovation they prefer it to the existence of necrophagists and their necrofeast. This particular necrophiliac hailed from Spain.

The band was formed in 1987 featuring Piti on drums and issued a live demo called Endless Death featuring the classic Necrofucken and a Sodom cover. Necrosion and Infernal Exorcism followed. The former featured Premature Burial, while the latter featured Human Casket. After more demos the band signed with the Spain-based Drowned Productions for two albums, but issued only one. Those last two demos were earlier distributed by the label. The group promptly disbanded. Xtreem Music, which was the successor to Drowned and Repulse, issued a band sampler called Maze Of Forking Paths in 2016. Dave Rotten of the label was a guest on the band’s sole album and Bongo would later guest with Avulsed.

After 28 years Spain-based Necrophiliac had a second album in 2020. It was called No Living Man Is Innocent and was released through Xtreem Music on CD and 12″LP formats in March. The band featured four members from the earlier incarnation. The act played a concert with Mauser and Neter in 2023. One-off concerts continued into 2024. There was a reunion of veterans as Avulsed, Unbounded Terror, Obscure, Necrophiliac and HellHounds announced gigs for Spain in late 2024.
