History & Biography
This Milano-based band was founded in 2008. Early members included bassist Matteo Gullì and drummer Marco Boyer. The first release was called Demo 2010. The 2014 demo was called De Diebus Fastis Nefastis Infaustis. The group was co-founders singer, guitarist, drum machine programmer and keyboardist Simone Colombo and guitarist, keyboardist, drum machine operator and so forth Andrea Lenzi.

The attack of the 'cinematic' bands continued unabated in 2026! A "cinematic form of symphonic death metal," Italy-based Nefastis was back, having recovered from line-up changes that forced it into a hiatus. Shadows At The Light Of Dawn, a four-act concept album, was available through Rockshots Records in March 2026. The band had a gig with Vultür and Ashen Field.

Nefastis means 'Wicked' in Latin.
