History & Biography
Candlelight Records announced the signing of English black metal band Nine Covens in 2011. The band’s concept album, …On The Coming Of Darkness, would be released in October. The band would not disclose its membership at this junction. Candlelight USA announced three records under its ‘Cult’ imprint in 2012. One was Nine Covens’ On The Dawning Of Light. The band became dormant until 2017 7” Thy Unknowing Servants featuring an older song and a cover version of Bathory. Dan Mullins was announced as a session drummer.

Ryan is the brother of Cradle Of Filth’s Benjamin Ryan. Nine Covens is an English occult coven. The band featured Extreme Noise Terror members. Candlelight Records was founded by former Extreme Noise Terror bassist Lee Barrett.
