History & Biography
Cleveland, Ohio, USA is the site of the origin of Noxis as of 2019. This town has a museum for rap, pop and rock acts, a millionaire jock centre, Noxis and a whole bunch of boarded up dumpy neighbourhoods full of potholes in-between.

Necrotizing was the immediate demo. The Expanse Of Hellish Black Mire was a 2020 EP through Pulverised Records and Rotted Life Records. The band proved it is modern and hip to the tenets of the scene by losing members here after being tourists for one year or so. Singer Andrew Armstrong and guitarist Grant Mastropieri were gone. Follow-up guitarist Patric Pariano also left. Ray Conde left, but returned as the singer no longer drumming. He left again and returned again in 2023. Hot on the heels of its debut EP, Expanse Of Hellish Black Mire, Noxis released the Violence Inherent In The System debut LP through Rotted Life (USA) and demo re-release company Dawnbreed Records (Europe) in June. The band was compared to early Cryptopsy and Demigod. The band, A La Carte and Dissected conducted a mini-tour. The two labels rereleased the album in mid-2026. In the meantime, tourism ran unabated. Grant Mastropieri was back on guitars and Ray was drumming as well again. Dylan Cruz left after missing gigs.
