The band’s monicker sounds inspired by something like Mad Max. Instead, the album’s title displays the act’s sense of humour. The Germany-based band was founded in 1996 and issued its sole record in 1998. Early drummer was future Postmortem member Andy Grant. Raul went on to live in Australia.
NUCLEAR TRIBUNAL - ATTACK OF THE SALAMI - SMOKERS FROM VENUS - POSERSLAUGHTER
Here is the second of the two new releases by Poserslaughter Records and, little surprise, these guys specialize in the kind of thrash/bash grind which can only come from such a label. Featuring an ex-Vaginal Massaker (annoyingly referred to as V. Massaker in the bio) member, the band barfs forth a mixture of grindcore (say a la Righteous Pigs) and the metallic death of early Benediction. There is almost nothing here that one can call new or original, but fans can take it for what it is. As the band itself so rightly reminds us, "there is a message: Fuck Off!!!" It's not too tight, it's not too beautiful, but it will have the average Pantera-listening teenage neighbour wishing he lived somewhere else. - Ali "The Metallian"
