History & Biography This Objector – for there was another Belgium-based Objector – began objecting in 2007 and went as far as showing in objection through a 2013 demo called Stand Your Ground. Malevolence Records had no objections to signing the band and so Objector did not object either and the result was an objection on CD in 2018. By the time the objectors had issued their debut half of all drummers in Belgium had objected to the group and come and gone. The band was performing on stage throughout 2018. Jos left in 2019 and was replaced by Mike "Spike" Thys who, in turn, left in 2023. Mexican drummer Ricardo Lievano Flores joined next. Bassist Stef also took off in 2019. Emile-Arthur Oosterlynck lasted until 2021 and was replaced by bassist Kuba Ddk. The band was part of Wacken Metal Battle and was booked to play there in 2023 and 2024.
