History & Biography
Richard West of Threshold and his side-project Oblivion Protocol signed to Atomic Fire Records in late 2022. The Fall Of The Shires debut album was a sequel to Threshold’s Legends Of The Shires from 2017. The Threshold members opted not to do a sequel album and West founded the new act in 2021. The album was expected in 2023. Threshold’s Karl Groom performed a couple of guitar solos on the album. The band hinted that it is working on a new album in 2025.
