History & Biography This band has not decided what its monicker formally is, or perhaps likes to give its audience a free rein, and sometimes goes by 'Öld Black,' ‘Old Black’ or is ‘Old-Black’ at other times. The band was founded in 2006 and had a demo Rehearsal in 2008. Bassist Ewiger Hass overdosed and died in 2009. He had also been in Necromant. E.H. was a 2010 demo. It contained several tracks captured live at concerts. Drummer Randy left in 2010, but rejoined in 2022 in tandem with a resurrection of activities.
This band, Black Sin, Necromant and others appeared on the E.H. compilation. Black Pandemie released this. Berith La Vermine De l'Art Noir of Black Sin was the replacement bassist. A long hiatus ensued and the band released a demo, entitled Just Fucking Christ, 2018. The act had not done anything for years. Someone called Black Pandemie Production released an EP, called Vagabönd Öf Hell for the act in 2023. This continued the sexiness with romantic songs like Fishgirl. The Vagabönd Töur took the band across BeNeLux to begin 2024.
Old-Black, unfortunately described as “black ‘n’ roll” now, signed with Music-Records for the release of an album, which was due in March 2025. The group deemed itself ‘black metal’ in the old days. The gang appeared at Forest Fest Open Air in the meantime. Malfaisant departed in 2025. Öld Black's I Am The New Christ supported the D.T.R / R.T.D album, which was released on the 26 of September 2025. . (yes, that's a dot) of Black Sin was the new bassist.
