History & Biography
The band with two brothers was called black metal, but has as much to do with black metal as Metallica has to do with fidelity, loyalty or dignity (or good music for that matter). Instead, Old Ruins focused on the Diablo RPG. Members came from the thrash metal band Voice Of Wrath and a power metal band called Firestorm.

A self-titled demo (featuring the song Sescheron's Fall) was released in 2020. The band was, at first, meant to be a studio project. A full-length called Always Heading East (featuring the song Sescheron) was issued in 2023. Drummer Alexander Czernik left in 2024. Germany-based Old Ruins had an album called Mount Arreat through Sick Taste Music in September of 2026. There was a video for the song Once There Was Light. The band was booked for shows like Spirit Of Metal in 2026 and A Chance For Metal Festival in 2027.
