History & Biography
The Portugal version of Onirik was established in 2002 several years after the Italian version. It was the endeavour of Gonius Rex and professed to the occult. The man had come from an underground act in 1994 and 1995 called Mors Liberatrix.

The Final War demo of 2003 arrived a year after the act's formation in Lisbon. Walking As A Shadow followed and kicked off the act's journey through the world of metal imprints..During this period the solo act not only used a drum machine, but also skipped the bass. Our Funeral Yet To Come was a split release with Morte Incandescente in 2005.

. The Fire Cult Beyond Eternity found the band on I, Voidbringer Records. Dirge Rep of Gehenna was a guest drummer on this record. Portugal-based Onirik’s next full-length was called Curling Serpents Under Stone and available on 30.05.2025. It is being released through I, Voidhanger Records.
