History & Biography
The band was formed in Wolfsburg, Germany in 1989 and probably influenced by KMFDM and influenced Rammstein in return. The group was part of Ozzfest in Germany in 2002. The industrial/dark rock band hit the number one position with Augen Auf in Germany and trusted its fate to rock music. The band was part of the Eindhoven Line-up in 2004. It was picked up by FIFA for its soundtrack. The band won the Bundesvision Song Contest, which is a German intramural contest, in 2007. Rohstoff was a 2007 DVD.

The group made appearances in Russia and Ukraine in 2017. The band played at Wacken, and other festivals, in 2018. The group had signed with Napalm Records. Ritual was released in January 2019. It arrived at position No 1 in the German album charts. Dero, who had fallen in love with Jesus however, was gone soon. Daniel "Der" Schulz was the replacement. The pandemic cancelled much of the 2020 touring. The next album was called Richter Und Henker. This one became a Top 10 charting album in Germany. Simon Schröder (drums) and Lajos (keyboards) came in. Michael 'Silvestri' Merkert had moved to Canada. The band commemorated its 35th anniversary with a tour of Germany in 2024. There was another appearance at Wacken.

Oomph! picks up additional oomph with a number of concert musicians.
