History & Biography
Another band on the scene inspired by Japan, this AOR and hard rock band's pop and rock tendencies makes it a borderline dubious proposition for hard rock or heavy metal fans. The band uses a saxophone occasionally. Founded by former Katana guitarist and keyboardist Oz Osukaru (and US-based studio collaborator Ryan Coyle) in the autumn of 2009 and a line-up was assembled in 2010. Singer Johan Bernspång and guitarist Tobias Karlsson of Katana were with the band to start. The band released GBG2LA in 2010 and Never Too Late in 2011 independently. A first full-length album was Salvation through City of Lights Records in 2012. Chris Tiann sang, Carl Dahlberg was on keyboards and Emma-Lee Gunnari was on bass. Gunnari was also a model signed to Oscar's management and modelling company, Blindfoldead International.

Transition was just that with a new line-up and other changes. The band opened for H.E.A.T. in 2014. Eugenia became the female singer in 2016. Rock It Up was an EP, featuring a self-cover version, that was sold on the road. The band and Vanity Blvd.toured Europe. The Labyrinth was a concept album. Osukaru supplied a rerecorded self-cover version of the song Dreams Don't Die for Pride & Joy's 10 Years Of Joy compilation in 2025.

The band's monicker is inspired by the Japanese pronunciation of Oscar's name.
