History & Biography
Paladin was founded in April of 2015. The key members were Sybaritic alumni. The band uploaded a song called Bury The Light. This was an instrumental effort and featured drummer Aaron Baumoel. Demo 2017 included the earlier track and added singer and bassist Ian Flürrance. Drummer Nathan McKinney was also new. Washington toured with Arsis opening for Septic Flesh in 2018.

Prosthetic Records signed the Georgia-based act and released Ascension in the spring of 2019. Randy Drake of Fozzy had introduced the parties to one another. A covers’ EP called Anamnesis was uploaded replete with Nevermore tracks, which the band called a tribute to the dead Nevermore singer, Warrel Dane. This too was issued in 2019.

The band and Immortal Guardian announced a US tour for 2021. Lunar had a new demo called The Illusionist featuring a guest guitar solo by Taylor Washington in 2023. Paladin, Unleash The Archers and Lutharo hit the road in Canada in 2023. The band and Lutharo also played in the USA. Andy McGraw could not make it into Canada and the band let the bass tape roll instead.
