History & Biography
Pomp fantasy rockers Palantír came together in 2012 and issued a six-song demo. Stormspell Records issued the band's 2017 debut album. The band was singer Marcus Sannefjord Olkerud, multi-instrumentalist Fredrik Erixon-Enochson and drummer Emanuel Lindberg. Palantír announced that bassist Bror Bengtsson could not make Stockholm gigs of 2018 and Cederick Forsberg (Rocka Rollas, Blazon Stone, etc.) would be joining them. As it happens, Bror never returned and Cederick Forsberg stuck around here as well. Chasing A Dream added guitarist Calle Persson, bassist Cederick Forsberg and keyboardist Johannes Frykholm. Robert Thor became the bassist in 2024. The band was invited to the Warriors Of Steel Festival in 2025.

Four years after the release of the Chasing A Dream full-length and three years after the Nightmare Opus EP (featuring guitarist Kevin Crona), Sweden-based keyboard-laden act Palantír was at the studio recording again in 2026.

Members are in multiple keyboard-oriented side-projects and are influenced by Helloween.
