History & Biography
The band was founded in 2002 and issued the Empire In Ashes demo in short order in 2003. Devil From The Sky was the name for the demo in 2005. A Portuguese record company signed the band and the debut album was available in 2006. The act toured across Brazil including opening for Krisiun in 2007. The sophomore record arrived in 2014. The band went on hiatus at this juncture. There was an EP version of the demo song, called Devil From The Sky, in 2019. The group toured in South America.

Brazil-based black/death metal Paradise In Flames released its album Devil’s Collection in 2020. The band was repeating the inclusion of the word ‘devil.’ The album was digitally distributed by Nuclear Blast’s subsidiary label, Blood Blast Distribution. O. Mortis was the new female singer here. The group flew to Europe and opened for groups like I Am Morbid, Batushka and Hate in support of Act I. The trend of self-cover versions was in full swing and the band pushed out one of those EPs, called Preludium, in 2023. The group toured Europe again in 2023.

Brazil-based Paradise In Flames, which was presented as an extreme band, but had not one, but two keyboardists, uploaded a song called Feel The Plague in advance of its concept demo/album, Blindness. It was out on June 14th. The band had a mini-tour of Brazil, including dates with Batushka, in August 2024.

Paradise In Flames was also the name of an Axxis album from 2006.
