History & Biography
The New Jersey and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA-based act was active for a couple of years between 1996 and 1998 before disappearing. The founders were After Birth's lead guitarist Jack Carmichael and bassist Chris Miller.

The band reformed in 2014, made a proclamation in 2015 and it was something more permanent now. Therefore, the sophomore album was out less than a year later. Staring Into The Abyss was an independent single in 2017. Another independent single was Nostalgic Decay of 2018. A self-cover version version of the Remnants Of Horror album was called Remnants Of Horror Redux. The band was drummer-less now. Following the established pattern, the next release was the independent Desperate To Expire. It featured a song called Whore Abortion, which was the name of a Walter Capelli side-project.

Horror Pain Gore Death was releasing the USA-based Percussor’s Ravenous Despondency, which was described as being akin to Bolt Thrower and Celtic Frost. The band was previously on the label before working with other concerns. Paul Orkin was on bass and Walter Capelli was on drums. Percussor had a single called Gaslight Mania through Horror Pain Gore Death, which billed it as the band’s final output, in 2023. As if competing with director Ridley Scott and the film Blade Runner, Percussor was back with Remnants of Horror: The Final Cut in 2025. According to the press release, ""Originally released in 2017 on a different label, the initial version didn’t quite capture the true feelings and atmosphere that was originally intended by the band. with the help of Mike Usifer (Prime Evil), Percussor have reopened this recording to bring the true vision and concept the third release truly deserved…"
