History & Biography Perditor was a black metal band that was based in Amsterdam and hailed Satan between 1997 and 2011. The band issued several demos, Hell On Earth, Death Torture and Perdition. A Chinese label called GoatowaRex issued a live album called Desecration Of Recession Day Twothousandthree in 2003. Ordealis issued the band’s In Signo Suo EP in the same year. The group sent out a promo demo in 2007 and nothing happened. Finally, an album was issued in 2010, which features older material.

Perditor is the twenty-first century's answer to Venom. The band's rumbling and wild black metal tastes like Venom as it smacks you in the mouth song after evil song. Vocalist Azazel, in particular, sounds like Cronos although Perditor mixes in quite a lot of rambling backing vocals. The music comes across as having been recorded live in the studio which intrinsically adds to the unpolished experience. Songs like Hellstorm, Chaotic Demonic Raging Madness and Empire Of The Black are no frills fiery black metal for the more discerning demons out there. Kudos to Ordealis for releasing something which has as much a chance of selling well as King George has of finding weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Bluuurggghhh! - Ali "The Metallian"
