History & Biography
The Montreal, Canada-based act issued its debut album six years after formation. The album had been recorded and re-recorded. An initial mix was scrapped and it was done anew. S.D. and J.S.G. had left Vengeful. The band’s first gig was with Adversarial in late 2012. The act had initiated a trilogy of albums with a similar pattern and continuity. The group appeared at a show called Wings Of Metal. Robin Milley was heard on the second record, left, but would reappear in 2023. The band decided to forego any shorter tracks and released its sophomore effort with four songs.A 2019 EP, called Everlasting Void, featured a cover version. The band also picked up guitarist Claude Leduc for gigs. Phobocosm released a new full-length, called Foreordained, through Dark Descent Records in December 2023. The band was booked for the Decibel Metal & Beer Fest. The group was booked for Sherbrooke Deathfest to start 2024.
