History & Biography Pierce was a New Jersey, USA-based hard rock band, which was first founded in 1979. The group was named after guitarist Pierce, who roadied for Metallica, and returned for shows in 2009 (featuring singer Bartley Collins) and 2014. The band reported that it had a label showcase cancelled because of a car accident. Chavis died in 2001.
Skreamin' Skull Records belonged to one Jim Cuomo who was an executive at Jem Records where Pierce (the man) worked. Divebomb Records combined the albums into a compilation.
